Merit GC, LLC (formerly Search Construction Group, LLC), is a Commercial General Contracting Company established in 2007. Merit GC has blossomed into a multi-million dollar construction company that has constructed medical and retail buildings from the “ground up” numerous interior tenant improvement projects, a Walmart site redevelopment, a 10-screen movie theater, and several City of San Antonio-operated Pre-K for SA Schools.
Merit GC, is managed by Kyle Heitkamp and Wes Michalec. Kyle handles all of the Project Management duties and Wes is the Site Superintendent, in charge of the day-to-day building operations, managing other superintendents.
